Nicole started in the optical field in September 2010 by completing her apprenticeship while employed at the Eye and Ear Clinic in Wenatchee, WA. She apprenticed under some wonderful mentors who really helped her hone her skills as an optician. In September 2014, she became a licensed dispensing optician in Washington State. In 2016, she went on to live in the Seattle area for a couple of years and had the opportunity to work at Expressions in Eyewear in Woodinville. She longed to move back to her hometown to be closer to family. In February 2019, she relocated to the Vancouver area and currently works as a licensed dispensing optician at Evergreen Eye Care in Vancouver. While not working, she can be found at home with her husband and two cats while curled up with a good novel.
