Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is comprised of the Officers of the Board of Directors (AKA Executive Board) and has full power and authority of the full Board in the oversight of the business and affairs of the OAW, as authorized and/or limited by the Bylaws.

The Executive Committee may exercise the powers of the Board when the Board of Directors is not in session; reporting to the Board of Directors at its next meeting of any actions taken.

The President of the Board serves as the Chair of the Executive Committee.

The Executive Director shall be a non-voting member of this Committee.

The Executive Committee plans full Board Meeting Agendas and leads the evaluation of the Board’s annual work.

The Executive Committee is responsible for establishing Committees to support the mission of the OAW and evaluating the of said Committees.

The Executive Committee also addresses succession planning to assure continuity of organization leadership and continuation of its mission.
Finance Committee

The Finance Committee is comprised of the Board Treasurer, the current Board President, the past Board President, and the Executive Director.

The Treasurer of the Board serves as the Chair of the Executive Committee.

The Executive Director shall be a non-voting member of this Committee.

The Finance Committee is responsible for overseeing the financial management of the OAW and for recommending the annual budget to the Board of Directors.

The Finance Committee meets quarterly to review the budget and recommend adjustments as necessary.

The Finance Committee reviews all expenditures not outlined in the budget to bring before the Board of Directors for voting.

The Finance Committee reviews and monitors all monthly financial statements for the organization and reports to the Board on the financial health of the organization.
