Our processes and procedures aren’t perfect, but we are constantly evolving and trying to improve to be more efficient and we welcome new ideas. The expectations we have for our optical staff are as follows:
Minimum 1 year of optical experience
Assisting patients with frame and lens selection
Eyewear sales & dispensing
Order processing via practice software (OfficeMate-Vision Web)
Adjusting and repairing glasses
Maintaining inventory of eyeglass frames
Other duties such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, keeping track of supplies and maintaining equipment & optical showroom
