Cascade Vision Center is Seeking Licensed Dispensing Optician or Apprentice

Cascade Vision is a progressive and growing eye clinic that specializes in medical eyec care. We are looking for a detailed, enthusiastic, personable and caring individual to fit and dispense eyewear. Must be willing to cross train as a technician and verify insurance benefits.

  • Must have experience problem-solving eyeglass complaints/errors

  • Must have good computer skills

  • Be able to answer phones

  • Be willing to cross train as a technician for patient pretesting

  • Be able to call/verify insurance benefits

We are looking for PT/FT optician. Office hours are: 8:00-5:00pm Monday-Friday and 9-2:00pm on Saturdays. Saturdays are required. ~25-40 hours per week.

Pay is open according to qualifications and experience.

Candidates must have reliable transportation. Requirements include:

  • Professional appearance

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize

  • Problem-solving skills

  • Initiative to create a welcoming atmosphere for our patient

  • Ability to work independently and as a team member

  • Willingness to fulfill additional requests necessary to office operations

  • Able to be flexible with schedule

  • Open to learn new skills to advance career
