We had a great turn-out! There are 24 total for the first event of the East Lake Washington Chapter. Fortunos is a nice quiet wine bar and we had the whole second floor plus balcony to ourselves. Jody Johnson from Armorlite was going to give us a short presentation, but was unable to come due to illness. Charlie from SV Express picked up the tab for the appetizers and guitarist. Paul Tollefson's "Salesmanship" class was Paul's usual awesome showtime. Van Rue was voted chair, and I was voted secretary/treasurer. It was agreed that we will try to meet every two months; the next venue may be in Kirkland.
As this meeting was laying the foundation for our chapter, we did not charge anyone a non-member fee, but I did make it clear that was a one time only situation. I'm excited...We have an East Lake Washington Chapter again!
